I’m venturing out a bit. Although I’ve always worked with families and kids, I’ve never offered a modality quite like this one. I’m known for documenting those candid in between moments, while also knowing the importance of a classic smiling at the camera photo. These heirloom portraits are pushing me in different ways.

1. I’m learning off camera lighting. and boyyyy am I learning L O L. I haven’t studied like this since college
2. I’m digging back into photoshop. We’ve got layers bb
3. I’ve done so much research on professional print labs (why do they make it so confusing and exclusive?!)

ANYWAY

I finally feel comfortable offering my first round of Heirloom Portraits, and I’m so excited!

Here’s a few shots from my first round of practice! I plan to set up all my new equipment and test it out on my kids soon.
