Today, I wanted to talk a little bit about why engagement photos are a MUST! Your engagement photos are not only a fun way to celebrate with your partner but you can really get a lot out of getting your engagement photos done. 01. THIS IS SUCH AN IMPORTANT TIME IN YOUR LIFE

There are a lot of changes when you get married and it’s only right to have these moments captured before your wedding day. It’s not only a huge milestone but it’s a celebration for you and your partner. You can never have too many photos of this time in your life!

Yes, they are essentially free! 😉 I include engagement photos in all of my wedding packages. I love to get to meet and work with my wedding couples before the big day. I think it’s so important to do these even if you feel like you don’t need them. Come hangout with me and let’s have some fun!

03. IT’S A SWEET MEMORY

Having your engagement photos captured is a really sweet memory. Having any kind of photos captured in general is a sweet memory. But your engagement photos are much more important than that. These are the photos that you can look at one day and think to yourself “wow, we were so young” or “wow look how much we have accomplished since then together.” It’s moments like that that really make you appreciate your photos.

04. GET TO KNOW YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER

Having your engagement photos captured by your wedding photographer is an insanely great way to get to know your photographer and to let them get to know you. It’s a great bonding moment + gets you familiar with modeling / their style. Liking your wedding photographer is huge and makes your special day run soo much smoother.

05. YOU CAN USE THESE PHOTOS WHEN WEDDING PLANNING

You heard it! You can use these engagement photos during your wedding planning! Your engagement photos can be used for save the dates, engagement announcements, pictures to display for your wedding decor, and a ton more. I see engagement photos all over the weddings I shoot, and you get to take them home and use them as decor!
