Mason and Rob went all out for their Downtown Tulsa wedding. The weekend started with the adoption party of their three boys at the Hyatt – regency; where kids ran wild, danced, and wrestled. The adults drank, ate Mexican food, mingled, and embarrassed Mason and Rob with their speeches. After the fun at the Hyatt regency, we all went downtown to Winterfest for some Ice Skating. Which was quite hilarious for me as a fly on the wall. This night was all about their boys and was a really special time to be a part of + the document. I got to talk with aunts and uncles, parents, and cousins, who gave me an insight into who Rob and Mason really are — family-oriented men with huge hearts.
P.S. peep me with the sweetest little girls who asked for a picture with me! Made my heart swell and I had to include it haha.
The next day (wedding day) started at Lifetime Fitness in South Tulsa, where Mason is a class manager. He led his closest family and friends in an epic pre-wedding cycle class. I was amazed at how many people showed up at 9 am to cycle with them. Their community is just incredible and I loved being included in their most special memories.
If you’re local to Tulsa you should absolutely check out Mason’s classes, he brings so much energy and fun to his workouts.
Mason + Rob got a penthouse suite at the Hyatt-regency in downtown Tulsa, where they & their wedding party got ready together.
I still remember the fun, hype, and happy energy walking into this room.
I always love when a couple spends their whole day together, including the getting ready portion.
Next, we did family and couples portraits outside of The Hyatt, before walking to The Mayo Hotel for the remaining photos and their ceremony.
Can we just take a moment for them+ their wedding party?!?!
Onto the good stuff.. Their ceremony was very intimate and special, with a lot of sentimental details.
They had several family members/friends share poems and songs, a live band, handwritten vows, and a unity ceremony including their three sons.
ir wedding planner), and I immediately went to the rooftop following the ceremony for some couples portraits.
Our schedule literally gave us 10 minutes of portraits and the sunset and these guys freaking showed out — we created magic.
Janelle with Mary Fencl Events was amazing to work with.
10/10 recommend hiring her for your day!
My favorite part of the day was probably their reception. I’ve never seen so many people dancing. And I’ve never photographed or even witnessed a flash mob. I was not surprised at this point after spending the weekend with them haha. They also did some traditional family dances that you’ll see at the beginning of the gallery. It was so so so much fun and I was honestly sad I had to leave before the night ended. Also, they had the most delicious desserts from Sweet Devotion Cakery omggg.
